July update

Greeting to all supporters and followers of Bolivia Mission Aviation! I’d like to thank you for your interest in this ministry though prayer and financial support. We are now in the middle of winter here in Bolivia, and though it does not snow in this part of the country it sometimes feels like it should. There were 10 days straight with very little or no sun, cold temperatures, and much rain, making it a challenge to be outdoors. As
I write this, I’m still thawing out while enjoying natural vitamin D outside.

But the Lord’s work of flying his mission airplane must go on, and all the other activities that surround aviation. In this blog I’m going to let pictures tell the story of what has been going on these past couple months accompanied by little side commentaries. My wife has also posted her blog, so please be sure to check that out at to see what else has been happening with us outside of aviation. We would also like to hear from you and are always open to any comments or suggestions in making this blog better. Email is

Please, always keep us in your prayers as many things can and do occur in the mission field that if it were not for the protection of angels we surely would not be here.

Mowing the runway was such a large task for this little tractor, but thanks to my wife we were able to get it done.
1200 meter long runway.

Bibles! Precious cargo going north to be distributed in the jungles.

A total of 360 bibles were donated for the UTIREG mission trip along the river. Another 338 were donated for the mountain areas of Bolivia taken by a second group of students.

UTIREG truck meeting the airplane at the Guayarramerien airport near the school.

Our second Mooney getting a much needed scrub. Lots and lots of elbow grease!

Our Cessna 182 also got a good wash.

Finally, clean airplanes!
Looks like the price just went up on this beauty!
